Rico Scout Hut - Boy Scout Troop 717

If the mural on the side of the Boy Scout Hut bear a resemblance to one of the popular characters of the Mellow Mushroom Pizza chain, that's no coincidence. The Mellow Mushroom's co-founders -- Rocky Reeves and Marc Weinstein -- were long-time scout leaders and supporters of the Boy Scout Troop 717 in Rico.

Pictured below are photos that were displayed on the walls of the Boy Scout Hut, until they were donated in 2020 with the promise that they would be preserved.
